Earlybird™ has a low cold requirement

Aquilegia is possibly one of the best-known perennials but is surprisingly rarely grown by professional growers. The Earlybird series may generate new interest in Aquilegia!

This new series has a low cold requirement and short cultivation time in slightly warmer winter climates. On top of that, Purple White and Red Yellow are unique colour combinations in F1 Aquilegia. Earlybird features a controlled habit with relatively short stems on well-mounded plants. Has a flowering window of 10-12 days plus a short harvest window which makes it an excellent choice for professional spring programs.

For optimal sales

The flowers of all colours in this series standing upright compared to older genetics. They are facing the eyes of the consumer for optimal sales. All this sums up to a beautiful presentation at retail that will help it fly out the shelves.
