Description

Trachelium is a genus belonging to the Campanulaceae (Bellflower family) and is native to the south of Europe. This plant produces compound umbels composed of many small flowers. It originated as a biennial plant. Thanks to breeding techniques and appropriate cultivation methods, however, it is possible to get Trachelium to produce flowers within three months. The main colours available are white, pale blue and dark blue but there is now a wine-red variety included in the product range. Note: Requires both extension and reduction of the daylength
