Description

This species is native to Central Europe where it especially favours light positions without any competition from other plants. From loose, round, needle like tufts appear dense masses of white star-shaped flowers. The Silverstar variety flowers in its first year but in biennial cultivation it develops clearly denser plant cushions and can be produced as a very decorative pot perennial in approx. 13 cm pot.
