Tanacetum parthenium

Description

This genus belongs to the composite family. Although originating in the Balkans, cultivation has distributed this chamomile-like plant throughout Europe. Commercially, it is most commonly referred to as Matricaria and can be grown under glass as well as outdoors. Three types are generally cultivated: a single-flowered type very much resembling wild chamomile, a yellow double-flowered type, and a white double-flowered type. Note: Requires a minimum daylength of 14 hours
