Euphorbia amygdaloides
Description
Euphorbia amygdaloides is one of the hardiest perennials, which adds colour to a dark, often very gloomy season. The foliage remains on the plant, even during hard frosts. With its burgundy foliage colour, it adds a nice contrast to autumn plantings; whether it is in borders, containers, boxes or troughs. After the winter Euphorbia amygdaloides surprises with creamy-yellow flower bracts, which keep their appeal well into the summer.
