Description
Lavandula angustifolia is by far the best selling perennial in Europe. Next to its beauty in the garden this species is also attractive because of the many uses of the essential oil and fragrance. With its lavender blue flowers that contrast nicely with silvery green, evergreen foliage, lavender is not just an ornamental perennial but also usable as a good ground covering plant in larger plantings. Its pleasant fragrance is a repellent for many insects in house and garden.
