Description

This graceful undemanding perennial from the Caucasus is one of the few plants for rockeries that are still flowering later in the year. From June until September, the spreading plant cushions are covered in small, bright pink blooms. In pot cultivation Silene schafta flowers after overwintering from June onwards.
