FlowerTrials preparations

Teamwork

Of course, I don't organize the FlowerTrials alone. There's so much involved that we have a FlowerTrials project group. This group includes people from Product Management, the Trial Coordinators, Sales, Trial Garden, and Marketing, totaling a group of 16 people

We brainstorm and develop ideas/themes for the various presentations as a marketing team. This ranges from thinking big (brainstorming) to eventually executable presentations.

The Garden

At Florensis, we choose to have the show mostly outdoors. It's fantastic in good weather, but we also have to consider rain, which presents its own challenges.

Building the garden is quite a task. For that, I organize various 'planting days' to which all colleagues are invited (including those from Finance, for example). This creates a diverse group and allows us to interact with each other in a different way. You end up working with colleagues you don't see as often, so you really get to know each other better. It's usually very enjoyable and feels more like a team-building day.

Diverse

Organizing the FlowerTrials is very diverse. It involves meetings, organizing, and designing. Everything comes into play. Additionally, we also have various catalogues that we create internally within our Marketing team, for which I also oversee the entire process.

Innovations

This year at the FlowerTrials, there's a lot of new things to discover: of course, our novelties and new Retail Concepts, but also a new entrance and an expansion of the landscape garden, among others.

I hope to meet you on one of the days during week 24. I'm already looking forward to it. See you then!
